bracket part

Mr. Bean said – Don’t beat around the bush, It’s a long night already, come to the point.

Can one truly reach a point ?
I have looked at points closely and realized that
except the point itself everything else is beside the point.
So what’s the plan ?
Where do we go from here ?
Where do we find relevance ? be counted ?

such is the need for being relevant
even your inhibitions weep in allusions to loneliness
and to think these inchoate poems will
survive through their incoherence
is
a
joke
i never cracked
but
is always on me

me is a toilet paper
good enough for
a he a she arse and a reference to
an unbiased form of entombed green memories

--do you remember
-- no I don’t
--it was there
--no it wasn’t

and paradigms of uncertain metaphors shift
to being local truths

sweet sweet truth
It’s one wonderful evening
wouldn’t you pick-up a date, drink martinis and listen to
older melodies—versatile enough to both sweep
and flood the relevance of being naked
in parts

  1. My friends say - "Why don't you write like you talk, when you talk your 'point' blows my mind, but when you write, you are so distant. People will not be able to reach you, you will forever remain the neglected writer". So.. it's impossible to bring them near this poem. Like you say, it's impossible to bring people beside a point who define their journey from point A to point B.. an idea logical enough to blind the periphery.

It's really amazing how this happens... let's say, we in-take an uncertain metaphor as a sense-data, then, it seems we readily have an 'a priory' built within to transform it into a local truth.... this makes it so hard to become and remain 'relevant' to only uncertainty , something that invariably ends up being violently despised by whatever 'self' may be...and thus society.. fact is, I'm losing all my friends..

  2. Have a few drinks together and win them back. I now understand the other side, people never had much-- not enough to surrender to the mundanities of a structered society-- so these local truths however wrong they may be in actual terms are a necessity for them.

I felt the need so am prepared to die sad and knowing than happy and...
